Today, June 14th, Saturn and Uranus make an exact square. Saturn rules over structure, commitment, discipline, rules, limits, and the status quo. Uranus is everything outside of those boxes, unexpected change, and is often the catalyst that asks us to do a 180 from where we are.
Whatever is pent up and restrained needs to be let lose. Whatever feels stuck has to get free. Where you might be holding yourself hostage to expectations and ways of being that are outdated or oppressive, must be looked at. When we ignore these energies, sometimes they come into our lives externally and sometimes forcefully, taking us by surprise. These planetary signatures will not be ignored.

We are in the middle of a story where you may be reconsidering how to do something, whether to stay or go, or if a commitment you have made or are thinking of making is truly right for you. If you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or like you have nowhere to go, this aspect may be reminding you of what you’re not looking at, what you’re not remembering, or what you’re blatantly not considering as options.
Change is uncomfortable, especially when it means steering away from what the plan was, what the routine is, and what is safe. Ultimately, however, course corrections can help us to live more freely as our authentic selves.
While Uranus changes are often drastic and sudden, in the fixed sign of Taurus, it could be even more uprooting and surprising or it could be slow and steady. Nothing necessarily need alter today, nor will it in some cases. I’ve found these transits are strongest in the build up to the exact aspect rather than on the day of. We’ve been feeling this one for the last 2 months.
