Mercury is closing in on a conjunction to the Sun. The Sun is our light, our vitality, and our awareness. Mercury is our mind, how we think, and messages/news we receive.
When Mercury is in union with the Sun, it’s as though we are receiving a secret message. (AND LITERALLY YOU COULD FIND SOMETHING OUT THAT WAS HIDDEN, UNKNOWN, OR UNSEEN BEFORE TO YOUR CONSCIOUS AWARENESS.)
We can have access to new or buried insights, realizations, and subjective truths. It’s about taking advantage of the energy. Use this time to inquire, journal, and reflect. It’s a time of great connection to yourself and to your mind. Communicating your truth to others should come easily.
Simultaneously, Jupiter, ruler of the Sun/Mercury conjunction, is moving into Aquarius to conjoin Saturn. More on this later in the week, but this suggests having thoughts and realizations that are no longer fear-bound, but are future-bound. If you’ve been feeling stuck, ideas may come regarding how you can move forward. Aquarius is logical and ideological. What are the steps you can take to be where you ideally want to be? What would it be like to be there? The Sun/Mercury conjunction in Sagittarius asks us to use our imagination to unstuck ourselves.
This aspect is mentally inspiring, yet could feel overwhelming. The truths and visions that come to us will require dedication, discipline, and hard work. Sagittarius and Jupiter ask us to dream and Aquarius says that no less than the dream is acceptable. Saturn in Aquarius, the final dispositor, demands that we make these high minded ideals a reality.
“I’m no longer accepting the things I cannot change, I’m changing the things I can no longer accept”
-Maya Angelou
It’s important to remember that our imagination and vision can get ahead of us. We can become attached to a vision or an outcome. Work towards the ideal while finding gratitude for what is. While a more beautiful and equitable world is possible, the present moment is all we have.
